with NOTS and mother's day, i TOTALLY forgot that this is Stevie's first MD without Barbara!!! i wish we could have put together some sort of fan "support" card to send her our condolences and encouragement. i'm sure it was difficult considering it was her first MD in 63 years not being with her Mom. (presents knuckles for rapping)

i remembered this on mother's day. i didn't wanna even mention it. it's my mom's first MD w/o her mom too. Mrs. Nicks and my Grandma passed the same year and like a week apart. Stevie's and my mom's bday are a few days apart too! Eerie!

April 25 (anniversary of my mom's death) through May 19 (mom's birthday) is always a tough time for me. In-between those dates falls Mother's Day and my Grandmother's b-day (May 6). Grandma lived to be 97, but it still hurts, always will.

Actually [I] thought about Steves more than once on Sunday and I was hoping that she wouldn't get any bad news on Sunday...If you didn't know Donald "Duck" Dunn passed away on Sun...He played bass on "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" and also worked with Tom Petty...Anyone know if he ever toured with Stevie?
