Look at this WONDERFUL setlist Stevie played at a festival in Charlotte last night. Wow... Rock and Roll - just amazing!!! For What It's Worth by The Buffalo Springfield...just ingenuous. This is her best solo setlist.

Rock and Roll
Outside the Rain
Dreams
If Anyone Falls
Stop Draggin' My Heart Around
Gypsy
For What It's Worth (The Buffalo Springfield cover)
Stand Back
Wild Heart
Bella Donna
Gold Dust Woman
Leather and Lace
Edge of Seventeen
Free Fallin'
Rhiannon
Landslide

Wow...essentially opening and closing your set with covers. I got nothing.

I always feel it's kinda disrespectful to Mike to do the Buffalo Springfield "For What It's Worth' rather than the FWIW she cowrote with Mike...ya know? Esp after she went on about 'how great' it was and 'one her best songs evah' etc etc etc......and then, welp, it didn't sell bucketloads so.....into the dustbin

Well, Stevie's a "numbers kind of gal"!

Tom Petty died almost 7 years ago. She's still doing the tribute?
I was watching a Heart concert and Nancy did the most wonderful tribute to Eddie Van Halen. They used to tour together and the Wilson sisters would hang out with the Van Halen brothers. Nancy's tribute was just a song with no photoshopped photos, no long intro. Nancy did not make it about herself. When I saw it, I was like this is how you tribute someone in a concert set. Eddie told Nancy that he loved how she played acoustic guitar. She told him he should play more but Eddie said he did not have an acoustic guitar on the road so Nancy gave him one. One night Eddie called her and played her a song he wrote on the acoustic guitar. Nancy wrote a song based on his song. And guess what, its only 2 minutes long. Very touching story. Authentic. No floating posters behind her. And it was over.
Stevie, this is how you do a tribute.

She has a show tonight in St. Louis so hopefully she'll open with Trouble in Shangri-La. Or maybe it'll be Face The Promise, Crash Into Me, and You Wreck Me in the setlist tonight.

Stevie has played three shows this month and her setlist isn't refreshed from previous legs. She used to play I Sing For The Things, Sara, and Fall From Grace. All of those three songs are gone. She's doing Leather and Lace now, and the covers: Free Fallin', Rock and Roll, and For What It's Worth. I guess it'll be like this until she can't perform on stage anymore. This sucks for a Stevie fan who knows her entire catalogue.
