FM tribute band Chicago area

Hi all, this is my first post here, but I have been visiting here for years. I would like to thank you all for everything I've gained from my visits here. We are trying to get a FM tribute band up and running in the Chicago area. Our problem is we cannot find a suitable Lindsey. We are looking for someone who not only can sing and play pretty close,but actually knows a bit about FM, thats why I wanted to ask here. Does anyone know a lead guitar/vocalist in the area who may be interested? Please let me know , and again Thanks !

Years ago, there was a fairly active trib band in Chicago called Second Hand News. They may be defunct by now -- most trib bands break up sooner or later. You might try Web searching for old info about this band, & maybe you can track down the Lindsey by e-mail or MySpace or something.

If there's a forum, ask there.

Remember that trib band members tend to know & have info about other trib bands because so many of them play the same venues & fight the same hassles (& even swap members).

The other place to look for a Lindsey is YouTube. Track down guitarists who do covers of the Mac songs, & then find out where they live. E-mail them to see whether they're interested.
