Default Sarcastic Commentary re BW fashion

[This is from a blog which describes itself as having "Pointless Expostulations on the Utter Futility of Everything." So, keep in mind that the writer is trying to be obnoxious with his fashion commentary, but he appreciates the music!]

Homage: Bob Welch

What can we say about the great Bob Welch, who turns 63 today? He was the awfullest-looking member of Fleetwood Mac, ever. With his skull face and wispy long hair, Welch looks like the missing link between Tom Petty and Weird Al Yankowitz. Bob (that's him beneath the first "O" in the Hollywood sign) is best remembered for his super solo hits "Ebony Eyes" and "Sentimental Lady." Both are tremendous AOR masterpieces that together prop up a world that would otherwise collapse into chaos, murder and despair. Unfortunately, no amount of lyrical brilliance could undo the damage done by that scoop-necked t-shirt he's wearing. No wonder they through him out of the Mac--or maybe he quit, we don't know--before they recorded Rumours, became multibazillionaires, and did enough cocaine to deviate the septum of God.

DumbF**k, it's "threw". If you can't use the English language correctly, use a different one.

Not to mention that July 31 is not Bob Welch's real birthday.

Same to you, it's Folk, not F**k, as of some kind of person

As far as I know, Bob decided to quit himself as he never reallee () felt he was part of the band. As is stated in the documentary "Rock Family Trees":

"Bob Welch who, together with Bob Weston felt a nagging sense of distance between themselves and the founder members of Fleetwood Mac:
"It was like they were on some sort of mystical quest .... and they have been given this thing, this mission to .... and I was never quite clued in on exactly what that mission might have been."
Bob Weston:
"I felt like the new boy at school, which I quite resented.
Bob Welch:
"I was just full of anxiety, I was kind of tired of the atmosphere, this sort of rather heavy, stuffy.... maybe, you could say, atmosphere. And you know, when you're in a band for five or six years, you see people everyday. I think we were all tired of each other".
John MacVie:
"He just quit .... Eh, I'll never know why. He just sit, pfpfft that's it, now I'm gone, tssst. And he was gone.
Bob Welch:
"I felt the clock was ticking on my ability to put out a whole lot of energy for a long period of time. I think it's called something....age?

Cheers

BTW in the documentary I mentioned above, there are two images of Bob. I find it hard to notice any resemblance.
See attachments, RFT is from the interview 1995, RFT2 is from the Dragonfly clip 1971
