I just heard an instrumental version of Songbird in a coffee shop. I got closer to the speaker to verify if it was the (Take 10) [Instrumental] from Rumours: More From The Recording Sessions [Disc 3], but it wasn't. It must have been a cover version.

It's unsual nowadays to hear a Fleetwood Mac song in my city. It was a nice surprise.

What does the book say?

Unfortunately the word unexpected is mentioned just twice in Mick's book. None of those is referred to Songbird. I'd go to Avon Books to complain, I hope it's still located in NYC (1350 Avenue of the Americas). Great excuse to visit the big apple again.

Cause obviously if I go to LA to find Mick and ask him, he won't hesitate to charge me for the answer.

This week on FM radio I heard Trouble and As Long As You Follow. And I hear Edge of 17 every day on multiple FM radio stations as if it's a brand new song.

I just heard Landslide in the dentist's chair.

Trying to decide which I like the least.... drills, needles, or Old Goatsy.

Edit- Gold Dust Woman now. I just realized it's Fleetwood Mac radio on Pandora.

Apparently they don't play any Lindsey or Christine.

I can't believe it. I was going down an escalator at LAX and I hear Love Will Show Us How. I wanted to stop on the stairs to listen to it.

So I've been staying in my friend's "college" apartment for the past week, sitting his dog. The kid in the apartment above me has been BLASTING Edge of 17 for the past half hour. Did kids in 1981 blast music from 1937?

I kind of did.

I remember in the mid 70s I was a kid and we liked to dance twist songs at parties. But twist was like 15 years old at that moment. Oh, Rock Around the Clock (1952), too. But just at parties. We didn't use to listen oldies at home.

I've not listened radio for several years. I got tired of Celebration, Hotel California, Imagine, Careless Whisper, etc.

I like those songs but it was since I stopped listening radio that I enjoy them again cause I listen them just when I want to.

Since I have more than 5000 songs from any kind of music, I don't miss radios.

Girl pulled up at the lights in the lane beside me and was blaring Gypsy with her windows down. Lights didn't change for a while so I got to hear the entire last third. Looked like she was quietly singing along.

I'm in Madrid right now. After walking several km in the city, I entered Primark store in la Gran Via. I found a t-shirts section that have sport teams and the typical classic rock stars theme t-shirts. Marley, Stones, Beatles, but my attention was directed to a brown one with an album cover picture on it.

Rumours.

I kept hearing Little Lies in Spain. I love that country.
