I'm on my fifth spin of ARTPOP. I'm absolutely 100 percent convinced that GaGa blew her creative load on the 2 Fame records. Since then it's been same S*it different day. I was a huge fan of the Fame albums, BTW.

I was never a fan , I always though she was an empty shell , like katy perry or most to 40 acts , love this , may have to listen to her previous stuff .

I like what I've heard so far. I'm going to pick it up on vinyl tomorrow. At first, I was resistant to Gaga, but she grew on me and I like this new direction she's taking. It's futuristic in a retro way, if that makes sense. Born This Way was great, too. It's a fun album to dance to, end to end.

Otherwise, I've been listening to the new James Blunt album, Moon Landing. It's...good, but lacks much of the angst that I like so much in his previous releases. I'm a big fan of melancholy.

Probably a bit biased being an NC native and I've actually gotten to meet Chris several times, one of them being right after he was booted from American Idol, but I am in love with the title track off their new album.

I've been listening to my friend Aleyce Simmonds' album Believe. She's nominated for best female artist at the Golden Guitars (the Australian Country Music awards). She used a line I suggested in her song My Life Drives Me To Drink, which is one of the coolest things to happen in my life!

I saw her play on Friday night and the opening act on the bill, Amistat, were really good. Their song It's Not Words is so beautiful I've listened to it all weekend.
