That's a hugely broad question!!! But a great one!!!!

I would have to say that for me it would be "I Loved Another Woman" from the "Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac" album.

As for any of the other pre-Buckingham/Nicks era songs, that's a whole other story!!

Are we just talking PG's time with the band or any of the personnel involved from the beginning up to when Lindsey and Stevie joined?

Hell, too many to list! I've never seen Green do Oh Well, but I've seen him do a few other classics. I just wish Jeremy Spencer and Bob Welch would play a Cincinnat/Dayton/Columbus/Indianapolis gig!

My favorite Pre-White Album FM song? Oh, gosh, that's tough. But I'll go with Station Man.

Oh Well, Rollin' Man, Dust, Hypnotized, Why, and Bermuda Triangle (live) all are possible alternates.

This is a very hard question - perhaps impossible for me to answer...

Such Peter songs as Man of the World or Oh Well or Bob Welch songs such as Angel, Bermuda Triangle, Hypnotized, Silver Heels etc.

I also like Blood On the Floor, Coming Your Way, Purple Dancer, Dragonfly, the list goes on.

Oh and then there is The Derelict.

These are just the favourite songs I can come up with off the top of my head. It is far too hard to pick just one...

PG means Peter Green.

You're good. I didn't have very exacting taste in music when I was 13 and maybe i still don't.

Well I may as well brainwash you now while you are still young...

Dave Walker is one of the better ex-Fleetwood Mac members. His song "The Derelict" is a standout track of the pre-Rumours era. Please don't question this, just nod and accept it...

Now repeat after me "The Derelict is one of Fleetwood Mac's best songs"...

I need all the support I can get on this one...

I must admit I dont care much for Dave Walker, but that's just a personal opinion, not a blanket statement. The Derelict isnt a bad song, I''ll give it that.

I couldn't agree more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will say, in the interest of full disclosure, that I've agreed to give Dave Walker a decent try, but I'm not going back to "Penguin" to do it. I absolutely can't stand to hear the songs "Derelict" or "Roadrunner". They are absolutely awful!! It is like nails on a chalkboard, honestly. I just can't do it. I'm really open to the possibility that I've missed out on Dave Walker as an artist in some other musical situation outside of his short lived involvement with Fleetwood Mac. I'm not that closed minded. I just can't stand those two tracks on "Penguin", an album I've mentioned before that I think is the absolute weakest of all Mac albums from the beginning through "Say You Will", bar none.

Don't worry young man. I was the same way. I didn't know anything about Fleetwood Mac prior to Lindsey and Stevie either. Then I bought "Then Play On", and the world has never been the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made it my mission in life to collect everything I could from this band, I'm very glad I did and I'm sure you will be also. Take all this information from here and check out the songs we're recommending. All of them. Regardless of differing opinions!! (Just avoid the Derelict and Roadrunner. You'll be happier for it, trust me!!)

If you haven't already, check out the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band also. Great stuff. Mick and Rick Vito in a killer 4 piece band playing old Peter Green songs and some of Rick's material also. It's great. (Check out the "Post-Rumours" forum for more info.)

Good for you for taking a serious look at this much older music and appreciating it. You're a good man!! Well done!!
