But I have to -- that's the game! My favorite song is "Sands of Time."

But of course that means that "Dragonfly," "Man of the World," "Before the Beginning" & "Prove Your Love" can't be my favorite song.

Hey, Steve!!

We should all keep in mind also that our originator in this discussion, "buckingham101" is only 13 and from what I gather, is looking for opinions and suggestions to help them develop their background and interest in the band.

For that reason, I think, many of us have given lists instead of narrowing it down to just one song.

Took me about 25 years or so until I finally started to appreciate "The Derelict".

I just wish they would've covered the Temptations' "Can't Get Next To You" instead of "Roadrunner". (listen to Savoy Brown's version with Dave on their Streetcorner Talkin' album) That's some damn fine Dave Walker vocals there. And, Savoy Brown at that point was basically post-Christine Perfect Chicken Shack with Kim Simmonds on lead guitar instead of Stan Webb (plus Dave Walker on lead vocals)...no WONDER that album is so great!

I like both Daves a lot...Walker and Mason....it just seems like Fleetwood Mac wasn't the best vehicle for either's material.

oh and for the record... i consider this a solid FMac tune... where most consider it the writer's (CM) tune...

but the guitar, bass, piano... oh so pristine...
