The actual stream comes from here:-
http://www.soho-streaming.tv/client/PPR/pg.swf
If you cut/past that into your browser you eliminate all the other stuff from the Mojo site.
Once you start playing this, you can use a screen capture tool such as this:-

I just used the trial version.. took a while to get the sound part right.

The output file ended up as 2 gig, but it worked.

I then used Prism Video Converter Software to convert the 2 gig .avi file to mpeg... its now only 220meg :-

Good luck..

Thank you very much, Norton! :wavey:

Chili, Peter bought from Martin Celmins the Epiphone Les Paul 56 Reissue Gold Top.

They bought together the Squier Strat in August 2003.......

Great to see Peter playing again!

Yes it really is great - also that he seems to be in good health.
It also seems to be a perfect environment for him to play with just one other person. No hassles or stress. Has Martin Celmins mentioned anything to you about whether there is more music in these Canvey Island Sessions than these two numbers?

Yeah it's really great! PG perhaps have played this good in later years but definitely not singing this good since "In The Skies".

Yeah, I too was pleasantly surprised with the quality of his vocals:blob1::blob2:

Hi Everybody,
I'm glad you like the video.
We made it to promote the 4CD Anthology (which was released on Monday 27th October) as Peter wasn't available for many interviews.
There has been a tremendous amount of interest in it, as we suspected there might be.
Peter was on excellent form when we filmed him, as you can see. We didn't really know what to expect when we arrived in Canvey Island, but it was a great day and a real privilege to capture him playing so well.
All the best,
Chas

Hello again,
We were asked by Peter's management to make the video non-downloadable because they don't want it on youtube etc.
I notice that some of you have managed to 'crack' it nonetheless.
I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't post it on youtube and similar sites.
We have 6 songs in total and the rest of it may well be made available in the future.
But one of the conditions of getting permission to film Peter in the first place was that it wouldn't be put on sites like youtube.
I'd appreciate it if you would therefore only enjoy it in private - or I may well get a sound thrashing!
Thanks,
Chas

Yes, thanks Salvo and Chas.
This sure meant a lot to all fans - a brilliant idea/inititative!

So I guess I have a question

Dear Chas,

Are you guys (and or gals) going to try to collaborate with Peter to make a live low wattage DVD?

I would think this kind of intimate low key approach would be a breath of fresh air in this crazy mixed up world .

I, doodyhead
