Peter Green - Man Of The World

I picked up a copy of the Immediate Records release of Fleetwood Mac: Man Of The World and was it ever worth it. What a great recording! Peter was the dude back in the day! I can tell why the birds flocked after hearing this. I'd have to put it up with Closing My Eyes. Just beautiful... I must have played it five times in a row.

Wow, what a find! That must be worth quite a bit of money for collectors.

About Peter: I agree. he was the dude! He was a great guitar player and an equally intriguing singer. His simple, direct, manly voice goes often underrated or unnoticed in light of his guitar work. But "Man of the World" really puts it in front.

I think I only paid $4. It's the German edition. The little pictures of other releases on the sleeve are fun as is Somebody's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked In which reminds me of Johnny Burnette's Tear It Up, and Link Wray's Rumble a bit too for some reason.
