I haven't really watched any videos from this tour since the first date or two, and I have to say, I'm surprised at how well Stevie's voice is holding up. Normally at this point in a grueling tour her voice starts to sound very ragged, thin, and shrieky. I can tell she's avoiding the highest notes, but she's still got a great tone. I think Sisters sounds better than it did 2 years ago when it was resurrected, and Silver Springs honestly sounds better than ever. Color me impressed!
If anything, it actually sounds like Christine's voice has improved since the earliest shows! I guess she's gotten her stage legs back fully.
I love the smiles from Stevie and Chris, too. They are just beaming. I'm really glad I watched the videos from these LA dates. It's nice to see some good news from this band from time to time.
