I really enjoy Bob a lot. His work with Fleetwood Mac is standout and his solo work is enjoyable. I wish he would put out more new material. I would love to see him live but haven't had the chance!

That video of "Green Manalishi" is from the Don Kirshner's Rock Concert TV show (I was in the audience during the taping of that episode...it was my first experience seeing Fleetwood Mac live) Doug Graves on B-3 & synths. Christine with shawl, long before ever meeting Stevie Nicks...so who influenced whom in regards to the "shawl stage regalia"???

AHA! That's where they got the cover photo for The Best Of Bob Welch CD. (The "Ghost Of Flight 401" promo video)

JEEZ! DJ Jim Ladd looks like he's about 19 in that interview!

Have you been to bobwelch.com? There are many songs to download, all free. Some are "new" songs (never recorded for release through the usual channels). Some are live, some are demos. Quality varies. Some are great new songs that are hits in a parallel universe somewhere! So ... what are you waiting for? Get going! LOL

Oh, and these videos are great. I'd seen the "Green Manalishi" before but not the "Flight 401." Bob looks (and sounds) fabulous in that clip!

Thanks for the reminder! I used to visit that site in the late '90s. I've only been back online less than a couple of months and I keep forgetting to check his site out!

The late '90s? Wow. You mean back in the Paleozoic era? LOL

Bob Welch has one of the best sites around! He's directly involved in everything that goes on the site. He reads this message board, too.

As I said in another post, I just love that clip at about 0:24 where Bob's fingers run up the fretboard like a spider.

Yes it was Australian, which makes it interesting that they mention in those clips that Bob was the guest host one week. Weird...

Surprisingly there is heaps of Bob Welch stuff to be found on YouTube...
