Quote:
Dave Ambrose appears on "The Vaudeville Years of Fleetwood Mac: 1968 to 1970" on first 3 tracks under group name "Peter B's". He was a member of at the time well known, Brian Auger & The Trinity/Julie Driscoll who had a big hit with Dylan's This Wheel's On Fire in 1968 and played on most of their early albums. At the time of rehearsing with Mick & Peter, joining the Brian Auger Trinity might have been a good choice given BAT/JD had established their reputation at the time. He also was a well regarded session man and had played bass for Steampacket. Check out discogs or All Music or read the book. PR tends to stretch credibility somewhat but to claim no one has heard of him is totally wrong. |
