![]() Having listened again to "Shrine '69" last night, I noticed that this CD was released under the header "Dinky Dawson's Live Archive - The Dinky Who? Series". Looking back now, this moniker - especially the term "series" - seems to have been nothing more than some kind of joke.
I always hoped that this would've been the first in a line of soundboard releases recorded by Dawson and that subsequently more tapes from more live performances would be surfacing in that so-called "series". As Dawson had worked for many other bands further on down the road, this hope also went beyond his encounter with the Mac. But 24 years later now it's apparent that this was nothing but wishful thinking on my part. ![]() Is there anyone out there with any definite info (no guesswork, please!) on the reasons behind all this? Would be much appreciated! |
