Is it literally just him with no band? Wtf?

He uses tracks anyway, but it's just weird. I'm bummed out it's not a true solo-all-acoustic set, but I'm not surprised.

Now, if he built each backing track up live using loop pedals then that would be very cool but if it's out of the box, pre-recording backing tracks I'm much less intrigued. |

Wow.
My Lindsey acoustic tour boner is DEAD.
Disappointed.

Looks like Lindsey got a badly needed hair cut!

Yeah, we've not much info yet and people seemed to enjoy it. I just can't help but think how sterile it must seem to be playing along a band-in-a-can.

Come and Bleed To Love Her!
I am going to be a happy bunny - don't care now what rest of set list is! And from pics I've seen so far his hair looks GREAT! |

That's what I thought looking at GYOW. It just looks weird. How cool would it have been if he had reworked all his songs like he did with BL and GI to be acoustic.

i am unsure how i feel about this. on one hand i was really curious to hear very reworked songs and a completely different setlist. on the other hand i was worried that it will be too classical-music-concert-like and slowed down if he did that. considering there were just a few people here who were really looking forward to a completely acustic set (like Peestie), i'm surpriesed how many people are now banging on him for doing GYOW and ISA the way he did it... especially Alicelover who was very loud about skipping this tour b/c it will not be rocking enough for him... hard to have it both ways. i have heard other people like you on FB saying that considering what they've heard about yesterday, they now decided to go see this tour after all. anyway, since ISA and GYOW are a must-do songs for him, and i love the audience interaction they allow, i hope that rounds up all big FM hits that he did and that the rest is more acoustic and what we were expecting. audience there definitely seem to have enjoyed the show a lot so he must have done the right thing for many people even if maybe not for some of his most rabid fans that expected something completely different from the usual. and i must say - i am so looking forward to hear BTLH (i hope that info is correct!?) and Come live - and am very happy that he added two original GOS/SYW songs to the setlist! |

I'm going to save my comments until I actually get to see the show tonight.

Sounds like a good compromise. I just want to know all the songs on there...I have a wish list which I know won't be filled, but...a girl can dream (Surrender the Rain, You Do or You Don't, Gone Too Far...)

What I'm getting at here elle...is that I want the band. I think we thought this was going to be a whole new tour, new arrangements, and new versions of songs. It feels like Lindsey lost his band at a rest stop and is continuing the tour with the instruments he has left... |
