Hearing YMLF on the radio is never unexpected and I hope it forever stays that way!

I was reading an article of the Hollywood Sign origins, at the BBC spanish webpage. It shows some photos of the sign through time, and found this cool picture.

Were they starving artists, or did the drugs keep them so slim? Even with all the alcohol, John's the only one who seems to have the slightest hint of a paunch.

That kimono thing John's wearing reads is called a hapi, the sort of thing worn by Japanese people at traditional summer street festivals.

.
I wonder that too. But I'm not sure. Elton was really fat when he was at worst of addiction. As John Belushi and many more. But yes there are also many examples of people becoming extremely thin because of drugs. So who knows.

Mick mentioned cocaine main presence starting with the White Album. Before that he mentioned some episodes but not heavy addictions, except for John alcoholism.

But yes they look very skinny.

Might I remind y'all that they were also(except maybe Christine) still in their 20's. It's not that hard to be thin in your 20's.

That's true. Though Bob, who was ~29 in that picture, looks older.

The hair fairy was never fond of Bob, which of course makes one look older. I hate it that he went to full blown wigs during his solo career.

He wasn't the only one in FM wearing wigs.
