I've told this story 5000 times here, but the only way my friends would watch Mirage in high school, was if I fast forwarded through NTF. They HATED the screaming. And that's probably my least favorite song on Tusk(okay, after Storms and Beautiful Child). I've never understood Lindsey's obsession with it.

The best part of NTF in concert (1982) is not Lindsey and John and not even Mick. Its Chris's honky tonk piano stuff she added to the song. How wonderful. There is no piano in the studio version but she improvised this incredible honky tonk playing along with the guys. Her clapping before leaving is so cool now before she runs to join them again shortly.

I was never a fan of the live version but I do dig the studio version of Not That Funny on TUSK! |

There's an alternate studio version on one of the import singles from that time that is really good. I haven't compared it to the version on the Tusk deluxe edition to see if they're the same though.

They cut the drum solo. Sorry Homie, you'll have to sit on a cruise and bitch about something else!!

About the cruising. UNLIMITED booze for a guy who loves to drink like Christine, maybe isn't the best idea in the world. (Don't you dare call them!)

That's right. The Deluxe version lasts 9:01
The video version lasts 10:50 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbrCeJdyPqE

And I didn't even notice or care. Never really understood drum solos to begin with and there's only a few I even care to listen to.
I actually didn't really listen to the CD version much since it didn't sound remastered and I had already played the video a lot . Same with the Bella Donna concert on Stevie's deluxe. Also, there's no real reason to go into the fact that they left off songs, but... Quote:

I didn't notice either. Then you must be thinking "How can you say it's your favorite part?".
Well it's my favorite part because it's friday night and I always play that video after a bottle of merlot. Perfect combination.
