I picked "rocky, warm and open" but I feel those descriptors are too limiting; it was more like the closest choice. So I'll expand.

Since much of it consisted of acoustic, slow songs, there was a warm feel to it - mellow and intimate. Also, his vocals seemed especially heartfelt and passionate - he excelled on Go Insane, for instance. He exuded vulnerability on SGCYM and Down on Rodeo, but confidence on GYOW. The look on his face when Stevie breaks out into Frozen Love is priceless. It was a little removed from the live feel because the audience noise was turned down so low during songs, but I can see the virtues of that even it makes it seem like the crowd wasn't responding as much as we were.

Overall they did an excellent job with it. I'm sure this will circulate in trading circles soon as Brian J. has already got it on DVD. It is certainly worth the wait.

Off course they are, dear, I'm not trying to be complete, I'm trying to force beautiful descriptions that paint a real perceptive and personal picture so I can dream about them: And I succeeded: Your description gives a lot of info that I'm searching for. Thanks for that!!!!!!!!!!!

You forgot: "not seen by anyone outside of a couple of States in America"
Cos I would have voted for that one, sadly

you'll have it on CDR in 2-3 days, I tossed ya in a freebie disc with our current trade and mailed it "Priority US Mail" cause I know there's a bunch of overseas Ledgies who will want to hear mp3's of it (Doubtful to impossible to post it on DIME being it is an 'official release'.)

Oh yeah, My votes were for the following:

rocky, warm and open
simple, instable and straight from the guts
poppy folk, full, and would-be artistic

On a scale from 1 to 10, I would rate the show a 6. I enjoyed hearing "Down On Rodeo," but did they really have to show the guy near the front of the audience yawning during the song? The best performance was "Never Going Back" with Stevie. I would have liked to have heard "Countdown", "Second Hand News", "Soul Drifter", or "Crystal" w/Stevie.

i'm sad that i'm not online so i can RAVE and SCREAM about how great this performance was... i loved it, i like the way he's playing now. and the GOS songs were such a treat. anyone buy the DVD? didn't i hear that amazon had it listed as coming with a CD as well? sorry, coming online for 1/2 hour every week is really limiting... anywho, i'm really peeved that it's only been on twice - at 5 AM... why is that?
