Best of: Pick your favorite playlist
I thought I would do a "best of" with the winners of the previous 3 playlists.
You Make Loving Fun, Monday Morning, Seven Wonders vs Honey Hi, Empire State, Angel vs Over & Over, Tusk, Beautiful Child Any suggestions for next week let me know! Last edited by MacShadowsBall; 02-06-2011 at 08:24 PM.. |

The first one had all faves, so i went with that one.
As for next week, I suggest bringng on some torture with songs us fans generally agree are awful (think When I See You Again, Only Over You, etc.) |

Why is "Honey Hi" my favorite Christine song of all time?! ...

Number 3 wins for me, simply because Beautiful Child is the best song of the lot.

Tough but I really like seven wonders - shame they will never do that one on tour

I really like the first choice, but I had to pick the third as it holds perhaps my favourite Christine song (along with Brown Eyes and Why) and Tusk never gets old.

I have this odd fascination with that song, too.

Hard to choose but I picked number 3 because of Beautiful Child... that song haunts me.

Over & Over and Beautiful Child are amongst Christine's and Stevie's best recordings, in my opinion. Beautiful Child is one of Stevie most emotive songs ever. The harmonies are simply divine. And something about Over & Over ads up to be far more than the sum of it's parts. It still fascinates me how the song sounds so mournful, but is actually celebrating a new relationship. I just love the slow-burn windup, too. And obviously the song Tusk is just epic. This was an easy choice for me... I'm a Tusk album fanatic
