How much did Lindsey make in those years doing sessions & live work?

I do not know how much LB made. He, however, has never refuted La Nicks' version.

Actually, she was not that bad. She was never a serious ballerina or anything like that (which BTW she never pretended to be) - but she was okay.

The problem with trying to ascertain Stevie's dance skill in any of these videos is that the cuts are too rapid & the camera is often in closeup, so we viewers can't examine a lengthy enough piece of footage of Stevie's whole body.

MTV glorified those fast cuts. But, I can say that cool, shimmering white robe/dress is very cool in its movement.

I loved the Gypsy Video...

I think they spent 75K doing it...

I think it was the most expensive video when it was made. I think the concept of it is cool and they all look fab. I LOVE CM in it. But, there is no one else on the screen when La Nicks appears. She was at the top of her game then IMO.

Interestingly, do we know whose kids those are?

McVie was blowing up from Hold Me and Nicks had blown up from Stop Draggin, Leather and Lace.. and then this video came out...

It was a great time ....

In that Warren Zevon book, one of the guys said that Lindsey was making something like $400 a week and he asked Lindsey why he was bothering to join FM when he could make that kind of money on the road.

Plus, Stevie said in one of those Australian interviews that she left Lindsey for months, but then ran out of money and had to return and eat crow by asking him to move back into his apartment. If he and Richard paid the rent without Stevie's contribution for months on end, he obviously had some kind of income, whether he earned it from odd musical jobs or got it from his parents or whatever. Well, either he or Richard had income.
