![]() The Park West shows were so amazing and intimate, it was like Linds was playing a coffee house. The place is really small and great acoustics, the shows were just sublime.

![]() From the New Haven Register:
http://www.nhregister.com/WebApp/app..._Story_1807575 Lindsey Buckingham — “Live At The Bass Performance Hall” (Warner Bros.): One of the most underrated guitarists and songwriters of any generation, Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham churns out well-written nuggets of deceptively complicated rock like almost none of his peers. Buckingham’s work has generated countless hit singles, but also countless efforts that influenced future generations. He’s helmed the catchy “Go Your Own Way,” but he’s also the mastermind behind what most people consider the first intentional lo-fi album, “Tusk.” On “Live At The Bass Performance Hall,” a CD/DVD package, we get to see all sides of Buckingman, and, man, is it a good ride. We see the guitarist Fleetwood Mac gems like “Go Your Own Way,” “Second Hand News,” “Never Going Back” and “Big Love,” but we also get a big chunk of the songwriter’s critically acclaimed 2006 disc “Under the Skin.” And not to be missed is a couple of his better-known solo works like “Go Insane” and the classic “Holiday Road.” The sound on this live set is crisp and clear, and the DVD looks great. This is a great set for anybody who loves Buckingham, but it’s also the best introduction to the underappreciated artist out there. It’s perfect for huge fans and eager music lovers who want to discover something great they may have missed. |

![]() Well, it doesn't matter in which evironment they'd shot the show. If the guy is in front of camera's he's forced into his "control"-zone, and just doesn't let go like during some shows that were not taped officially for a production.
BUT I totally LOVE the ego-doc. And IKINW.

![]() I really don't share the glowing reviews of the Not Too Late documentary. The only good part was William and Lee Lee in the studio.
William: I'm dad, im in charge of the studio Lee Lee: I'm in charge of the kitty That was documentary gold, then we get: Lindsey: Rock N Roll Harnessed faceless entity hemming us in, media, no spotinaity, nurture, life's not a straight line blah blah ****ing blah. The camera man should've told Lindsey he was being filmed making these boring speeches and just had the camera off and followed the kids around the whole time and release that. Really Lindsey's commentary's and different angles of him working in the studio are almost painful to watch and listen to.

Those kids in the studio are a hoot! Exactly like their parents! Son: " I'm Dad, so I'm in control in the studio." Daughter: "I'm the Mom, so I'm in control of the kitty." ![]() |
