On Carrie Underwood's Christmas special "My Gift" there's a scene where's she wearing a Fleetwood Mac tour t-shirt from the Tusk era. I've never seen this particular tour shirt and looks like it could be one the shirts you would see being sold in the parking lot after a concert . Never the less it's pretty cool to see her wearing it.

In the 1984 Facts of Life Episode "Cruisin" finds the girls randomly driving around inside a car. The sub-plot is Tootie trying to win Abba concert tickets from the radio. Every time a trivia question is asked on the radio, Tootie tells Joe to stop and she calls on a pay phone. One trivia question was "What band recorded Mystery To Me and Heroes Are Hard To Find?" Tootie in the back seat yells "I know this, I know this.....Fleetwood Mac!" and she hops out of the back seat to call the radio station. But she is caller #5 instead of #4 and does not win.

That's "unexpected" on so many levels.

It really is. It aired in October 1984 when Fleetwood Mac was nowhere near as a popular band. And the fact they used classic albums instead of Rumours or Tusk made it even more interesting. Lastly Abba was broken up for years and was not touring. All so weird. In this episode the girls dine and dash at a restaurant too. I just cant picture Tootie being into classic Fleetwood Mac. Her fascination was Jermaine Jackson (if you remember that episode).

Here is the episode. Skip ahead to 14:46
