It's hard to trust any politicians, but there's the odd one that seems to be far worse than the others

Yes, but their oddity makes them actually more appoachable, people think they aren't dangerous and let heir guard down and then it's when they gain the upper hand.
You have to think that the more something is simple the most people will like it. Politicians that use a communication style that's under the average, with very simple (simplistic in this case) concepts and words will appeal to that great slice of population that has an education and/or a critical sense under the average levels.
And you find yourself with a premier that appoints a showgirl "minister for the equal opportunities".

This election comes down to a man baby vs career politician.
I could be wrong but the demographics of the United States have changed so much over the past 10 years, I am betting on the career politician.

One interesting thing we can discuss is who do you think will be the running mates of Trump and Clinton. Here is my guess (I am usually always right). Ha ha

Trump - Joni Earnst (sp) Senator from Iowa. She checks all the boxes. She is a woman, she is a tea party candidate to sure up conservatives, she served in the military so she can talk about the military, and she is from a swing state. She would be the ultimate attack dog against Clinton.

Clinton - my bet was always on Sherrod Brown of Ohio. He comes from a huge swing state. He is left of Clinton and is a champion of unions, something Clinton is lacking. But Clinton keeps getting weaker, she may have to go further left to lift up the base. This is a base election so that will really count.

What do you guys think?

my observation is trump will win there are too many poorly educated ( trump's words not mine ) crazed 'murican who do not understand politics and and will vote for his based on him feeding into their fears and ignorance , playing to their prejudices of anyone non hetro , non white and not born in this country .

the only thing that will save us from this is the educated republican who votes for Hilary

Personally, I do not care if you think I'm a flake for supporting Sanders. I have NEVER supported (or liked) Hillary and I think Trump is a bigot. So, yes, I'm happy with my choice.

I don't think I've ever implied that.

I'm not voting for any of them btw.

No need to apologize to me. It'd take a lot more
to offend me.

The only way this could get real ugly is Stevie and Lindsey are running mates and us will be fighting off the wall on who should be Pres and VP also the rest of Mac as their cabinet position .LOL.................

Oregon polls just closed and the results are coming in
now.

So far at 38 percent reporting..From Google News..

Mr Trump 64.2%

50,286

Bernie 57.8%
107,083

Hillary 42.2%
