So do I wondergirl.
I've just had an email from the record company saying it's still being confirmed at Lindsey's end, so fingers crossed.

I've also been asked specifically not to leak any music via the internet which I've agreed ofcourse.
So if anyone else also gets a preview I think out of respect for LB and the record company who seem to be keen to promote it properly - it would be wrong to leak it.

Personally, if it were me, I would keep the Mac questions to just what's happening with the new album and tour (is it a farewell?), and ask if the problems with Stevie are resolved.
I think if you concentrate on his solo work, he would love that and it offer something new. Has his process of recording changed much since the early albums? Is he less critical of his work, or just as much of a perfectionist? What does he think of Law And Order, Go Insane, OTTC when he hears them now? Two albums in a matter of a few years: is this indicative of the future, will he carry on at this rate? What is he listening to at the moment (I love hearing him talking about the stuff he's into)?
Also, very interested in hearing what he thinks of Stevie's comments about it not being worth releasing new music, because fans just illegally download it these days anyway.

But most importantly: WHEN IS HE COMING TO THE UK?

gypsysoul, if you've seen Lindsey's answers on youtube, you'll appreciate that he tends to be very verbal. Unless you have the opportunity to interview him for hours, you really need to focus on one or two questions that you think are the best. I hope it works out for you.

Well, this is very exciting.

Whatever you ask him, I feel as if we have 2 horses in this race. I'll be as interested in your questions as his answers.

Good luck!

Oh, and when I used the horse metaphor, I was thinking that you were a thoroughbred, of course.

Now THAT is the best suggestion I've heard yet! Gypsysoul, I'd pay you money to ask that question... GOOD money! Seriously though, I would be fascinated to see what his answer is... if he brushes it off, if he's read it, if he thinks it's fairly accurate, or if he thinks she's just completely crazy and money/fame grubbing.

All the questions are great so far (especially about Carol Ann). Yes, he does tend to give lengthy answers so my 'phone bill could be huge!

I plan to print out all the questions and see which ones can be amalgamated so hopefully the final list won't be too long.

To be honest I was just expecting to receive the CD and for my request for an interview to be ignored. So it was a huge surprise to be told it could
a. happen
b. tomorrow!

So now I'm just on tenterhooks to see if it really happens.

I hope your interview comes off, if it does can you ask him

Is there any plans to release your music videos on DVD?

Do you plan on adding any Out Of The Cradle songs to the live set list on the up and coming tour and would you consider plugging in to play Big Love?

Congrats!

I'd like to know, since LB brought it up first, which producer(s) HE would like to take the helm on the next FM album (and then slyly suggest Rick Rubin or Jack White).

Sharon, your questions are BRILLIANT. If FM isn't brought up, that would be perfection to me. I could care less about them right now and would love if most of the interview concentrated on his solo stuff/tour. I'm not telling you what to do, just what I prefer in an LB interview.

The flurry of activity in this thread does seem like spectators at a horse race...each with a betting ticket in his/her hand.
