Where's the vegetarian option? I'd probably go for that. A nice pasta. Or a nicer fish than salmon, like tilapia or something.

Salmon's too oily and fatty, chicken at dinners like that are normally gigantic 1/4 chickens with bones and skin and crap, and normally they will only cook the filet/steak for everyone at the same temperature level, and I cannot handle anything under medium well.

I'm so picky!!

Are you still in shape or has this diet caught up with you?

I find salmon to be pretty reliable too, but I always think of the movie airplane where the people get sick from the fish.

I've been to weddings where other people at the table give me food off their plates because I like the food so much. So really, I guess I've found that the choice doesn't always have to matter.

I think of beef as much fattier than salmon.

I usually go for the fish.

The only wedding you have to go to is your own. I'll send the bride and groom a check if I like them, and eat OUT!

Salmon cakes are delish. I'll have that. Actually, my friend had a party last month for her 30 birthday (same as Stevie's) and getting her master's, and that's what the choices were, essentially. The salmon was really good.
Then, though I normally would've picked the chocolate brownie thing, I got creme brulee, cause i have never had it.
That concludes this episode of "Boring Posts By the Poor and Obscure"

The food is the best part of a wedding. Sorry, I'm a romantic.

I never had a salmon cake until last year. It does seem that salmon is a craze in this country right now. I don't remember seeing it on so many menus fifteen years ago.

Aaah, you're getting older. In high school and college I worked out every day. In the years since I work out...less.

Perhaps cause people started to realize how important Omega 3 fatty acids are. also salmon has some other nutrient that only it has. Only other place besides fish to get omega 3 is flaxseed oil, and walnuts. And it is a VERY important nutrient. Fascinating, right?
