No matter, appearance DOES make a difference. At least for me, if the actor/actress is a close resemblance to the person they're portraying, I'll let more slide than if I have to really stretch my imagination to make the portrayer fit the role appearance-wise.

Like that 90's TV bio-drama about the Beach Boys...none of them even came CLOSE to looking like any of the Wilson brothers...it just wasn't believeable to me.
