No doubt. "Welcome to the Room, Sara" could have been such a powerful song, given its subject matter. Instead, we got some nonsensical references to Gone with the Wind and recycled lyrics from "Blue Lamp." Even Lindsey couldn't save that one. |

Silver Girl is one of my very favourite songs..
Other than that, I LOVE... 1. When I See You Again 2. The Second Time 3. Paper Doll ♥ (Bonus) 4. No Questions Asked, because I'm not really sure it's hated. But it could be.

I should probably have clarified that answer though, because my FAVOURITE version of No Questions Asked is the really, really slow guitar demo that everyone hates

I don't know how popular or not that the tracks that were new at the time of The Dance are, but I loved every one of them.

It was like Steven King's Pet Sematary. You want something back that's gone and then when you get it: YIKES! No, I do find the lyrics to Temporary One moving, not the melody or delivery. Michele |

Temporary One: (LOVE this song. It's so damn catchy and fun. I was thrilled when I first heard it and shocked to find so many people disliked it.)
Sugar Daddy: (Among the band's coolest tunes. Don't understand the hate.) Red Rover: (While not universally despised, this song is severely underrated, imo. I think it's one of the best things LB's ever done.) |

Is 'Paper Doll' really that hated? I had no idea. I love that song.
As I said before, I really like Stevie's songs in Tango, particularly 'Seven Wonders'. Truly a great tune. Never understood why anyone would dislike 'That's Alright'; I think it's one of the best FM songs period. It's not really hated, but it does seem to be underrated a lot. Th entirety of Say You Will gets a lot of flak, but I personally love the entire album. 'Thrown Down' is the best FM Stevie song since her stuff on Mirage. I even like 'Silver Girl', it has a great chorus.

Fleetwood Mac is never about 1 person, it's about the whole group working together, right from the start. If I want to listen to solo stuff, I'll go listen to it. So when the band sounds fragmented and seperated, that's where they fall down IMO. Tango suffers the same fate. Some great songs, but I've never found it works particularly well as an album/group effort. Whereas BTM sounds very much like a team working together. Back to the point - my 3 on this list would have to be Paper Doll, That's Enough For Me and The Second Time. All 3 seem to get a fair amount of dislike, but I love all 3. |
