Don't worry, she knows he loves his wife. And she would never make a pass at him where she is so sure to get caught.

I just hope they don't open with The Chain again! It's getting really old. Love the song...just stick it somewhere else in the set -- perhaps at the end of the set, where it was when they first started performing it.

Would love to hear them play Miranda, Thrown Down, Tango In The Night and Seven Wonders and Storms.

Default God I love making these....

Okay, I make these fantasy setlists WAY too much. Here's my latest:

(BOLD= the ones I REALLY want to hear)

1. Monday Morning
2. Dreams
3. Oh Well
4. Second Hand News/Eyes of the World (Switch out or choose 1)
5. Thrown Down
6. Never Going Back Again
7. Rhiannon (how about "going for it" at the end for one last tour?)
8. Big Love (electric!)
9. Tango in the Night (this would be THE guitar song. No Morrow or So Afraid)
----Acoustic Set-----
10. Gypsy
11. Try for the Sun (Say Goodbye/Red Rove style, with Stevie doing slight backing vocals)
12. Landslide (if they MUST. I could definitely go without in favor of other songs).
----------------------
13. Frozen Love
14. Red Rover
15. Gold Dust Woman (Can take out if too similar to SOTM-would much rather here SOTM)
16. Sara
17. Miranda/Twist of Fate/Gift of Screws (I don't see them doing any more than 1 of these, and probably not the GOS tracks, but I think Lindsey would have a lot of fun singing them, and Stevie doing back-up on the chorus)
18. Angel
19. Tusk
20. Stand Back
21. Go Your Own Way
----Encore 1-------
22. Sisters of the Moon
----Encore 2-------
23. The Chain
24. Blue Letter
25. Crystal (Lindsey does first verse, then Stevie)

I heavily agree with others that:

-any SYW songs not done on last tour are great
-Oh Well REALLY needs to be done
-We can let Silver Springs rest, but certainly wouldn't be disappointed to hear it
-do NOT open with the Chain. WAY overdone. I wouldn't be sad to see it gone, but it would work as an encore like in my list
-Totally content with NO World Turning or Don't Stop. Also Landslide, and acoustic Big Love)

It's hard to come up with a set list. If there's a chance that some ex-Maccers would make the tour, that would change a huge chunk of the set. Obviously, The Chain, Dreams, Rhiannon, Don't Stop, GYOW, I'm So Afraid, Landslide, Tusk, and Big Love are all going to be in the set regardless of who else comes on board (if anybody). It's not even worth debating those songs. But the rest is wide open.

There should be a medley of How Still My Love and Go Your Own Way played simultaneously. In the middle of the song, Lenny Kravitz could pop out from beneath the stage and perform Are You Gonna Go My Way. That would be awesome.

Or not.

Sure she wouldn't But I was thinking more to a goodbye to the usual staged repertoire of affection onstage.

You're simply not going to get all those odd songs. I think the SYW tour was as much a deviation from the "normal" Mac songs that we might see. They have to sell out the arenas. Here's my middle of the road setlist that I think is a good balance.

The Chain
Dreams
Blue Letter
Never Going Back Again
Sisters of the Moon
I'm So Afraid (or Murrow)
Sara
Oh Well
Landslide
Eyes of the World
Thrown Down
Bleed to Love Her
Beautiful Child
Big Love
Silver Springs
I Know I'm Not Wrong
Go Your Own Way

I'm leaving out 4-5 blank spots for "new" songs. Let's hope maybe they'd throw in some Buckingham Nicks tunes as well. Don't Let Me Down Again would be cool.

Hadn't Stevie mentioned the usual is to take the previous tour setlist and trade-off from there? Also, for my own clarity, is this a wish-list set or the probable we are asked to post?

i think john asked that we be practical in our lists and take into consideration what they're mindful of: how many each singer, songwriter, era, etc., is getting.

that said, if i submit a list, it's totally going to include "storms."

Why don't we just submit songs that we wish to see added to the set, instead of creating an entire setlist for them. That way John can report to the band with only the songs the fans want to hear, and then FM can decide from there

^ That's why I started this thread. I figured we could take a look at which songs are getting multiple mentions & forward those to John. If we're lucky, maybe they'll throw us a bone & do 1 or 2 of them. I don't think anyone expects them to look at an entire setlist & say "yeah, this sounds good." Well, I hope they don't expect that.
