I dunno...that one could go either way. If Lindsey were to play it alone (ala "Big Love"), he'd have to radically rearrange it, which would probably be a definite plus. If they did it full-band, it would just mean that Neale & the other hired-gun guitarist (hopefully NOT Carlos Rios) would earn their keep on it...and it probably wouldn't come off all that great.

I LOVE Miranda. I think its a topsong. But like you, I prefer the GOS-version.

Such an arrangement COULD be the base for a great version including ONLY the rythmsection. Cool.

I mean those selections are great. Sisters of the Moon, Blue Letter, and Storms definitely earn their keep but I think that we really got STIFFED on the Say You will Tour. They played the crappiest songs from the album. I think Running Through the Garden, Everybody Finds Out, Thrown Down, Miranda, and Steal Your Heart away need to be done.

I just think they should've just come out and played SYW from beginning to end, taken an intermission, then come back & played an hour of hits.

It was okay. Very rough. I never want to hear this live. The CD version is just too good. Stevie's voice couldn't handle it all the way through......imo

These are my choices (in no particular order, and depending who tours with them):
-Twisted (quasi Buckingham Nicks song from 1997) -What's the World Coming To (Lindsey) -Miranda (Lindsey) -Affairs Of the Heart (Stevie) -Gypsy (I love the song but only from Stevie - it's her signature tune) -Paper Doll (Stevie) -Welcome To the Room Sara (Stevie) -Family Man (Lindsey) -Destiny Rules (Stevie's best on Say You Will) -Steal Your Heart Away (Lindsey) -Running Through the Garden (Stevie) and if they have Bekka filling in for Christine, let's hear the following of Christine's tunes: -Love Shines -Do You Know -Temporary One -Say You Love Me -Little Lies -Hollywood and Bekka will surely want to sing her own tunes, too, since she's a pretty good writer. If it's Billy and Rick there, too, let's have: -In the Back of my mind -Hard Feelings -Talking To My Heart -When the Sun Goes Down -I Got It In For You -Desiree (with Stevie) and if Lola Thomas was to unexpectedly turn up (which I highly doubt, but anyway), let's include some of hers, too, like: -The Way I Do -Now I Know (duet with Billy maybe?) -All That I Was Guilty Of Was Loving You -Evidence The outcome might seem like a Fleetwood Mac Family and Friends Tour ;-) |

I thought Lindseys guitar sounded great with it. Its really only hard to sing at the end and her voice is MUCH stronger now. Edge of Seventeen, Rock and Roll, and Beauty and the Beast right in a row is very tough and she did that for almost 2 years. I think she can handle EFO.

I wish Fleetwood Mac would add more obscure songs to their setlist, just so I can keep a tally of how many people then complained that the rendition sucked ("listless," "uninspired," "pitchy," "off-key," "avoided the high notes," "needed Christine," "was ruined by all of the additional musicians," etc., etc.) and wasn't nearly as good as the studio version and/or past live versions.
