haha..that sounds like me when I first saw it (I can't remember how old I was)...I just bought the extended DVD version with 12 minutes unseen footage...haha...I've re-discovered the film if you will...I don't care that Costner has no English accent yet is supposed to be an Englishman (and Christian Slater's accent is horrid) - I still love the movie...I mostly remember watching and watching it...I didn't have a thing for Costner but I so wanted to be Maid Marrion...I thought she kicked ass...haha

Yeah, definitely a really good movie. great cast, great acting, great writing. Praying Mantis is in it, and The Fly...and Igby, as their child, is appropriately bug-eyed, although he is a Culkin, he looks more like he's related to Tobey McGuire...
