Wink Yeah, but

If I left my job and they hired two people to do what I did, I'd go around gloating about it too. LOL

Default Round 7 - Billy Burnette

I'll play along....

Much as I hate to 'cause I love the sound of his voice, I'll have to pick Billy Burnette this round.

No, here's why. Let's say we're playing Round 1 & Christy answers the question correctly & she picks Lindsey for immunity (unbelievable, right?). Lindsey has to be granted immunity for THAT round because he can be granted immunity for ONLY ONE round, & if he is granted immunity for Round 2, what if I'm still tallying the votes for Round 1 & Lindsey is voted off?

You see?

You guys said that it's "pointless" to vote for someone who is immune. But that IS the point! It's like getting a shot of antivirus for the flu to make you immune. The flu might still try to attack you, but you will be immune to its dangers.

So in any given round, people vote off whomever they want to vote off, without knowing who will be granted immunity -- that's the unexpectedness of it, that's the chance of it, that's the fun of it! If in the middle of Round 1, a bunch of you want Lindsey off & you vote to get rid of him, here comes Christy during that same round & answers the question correctly & says, "SAVE LINDSEY THIS ROUND!!" Then all your votes to oust him have been in vain -- that's Christy's reward for answering the question correctly!

You see?

Whereas if I grant Lindsey immunity for Round 2 ... he's already GONE by the tallying up of Round 1, so that doesn't work!! The only way to make that work is to grant him immunity for Round 1 AND 2, & that's bogus!
