I love Hotel CA and The Long Run in their entirety. And I also agree that early ~non hit~ FM albums were much more cohesive than early Eagle's efforts. And Hotel CA was nearly perfect as well, just like Rumours. Name me ANY other major artist that pulled a Tusk? "Hey, we just sold 20M...I think I'll beat on some Kleenex boxes in my bathroom". We know who to credit for that. The guy that Stevie got fired... But Tusk was an attempt at career suicide.

I'm hugging you, too. Group hug!! I may be rolling my eyes a little, however.

I'm sober, so you'll probably need to buy me a drink or two first!

And yet she let him get thrown under the bus like a used Big Mac wrapper.

No, they love each other. When they hug and kiss on stage it's real!! How dare you.

She didn't do that. There's no rewriting history, and her choice in not saving him. Period.

Legacy ruined. And she's still out there promoting herself like some amazing musician. She's a turd.

Walking to a bar in downtown Nashville just now, a girl who couldn't have been over 25 drove by, BLASTING Rhiannon.
It boggles my mind that young people blast 46yo music. In 1975, did people blast music from 1929? Me thinks not. Carry on...

I was in a gay bar and SYLM came on. A bunch of women got up and started dancing to it. It was absolutely hilarious. I will say buzzy folks and FM go together. Like butta...

Once in an open-air market in New Orleans, SYLM started playing over the speakers and I saw people of very different ages and backgrounds singing along. It was a magic moment. “I got goose flesh.”

Christine's songs have this energy that's hard to explain.

They do, particularly SYLM and OMH for me. It's like there's a certain restrained emotion. I don't get all verklempt over Songbird, but there's a certain depth underlying even her hooky songs that pulls at me.
