Default Christine Was Down On Her Luck?

Well, I guess Heroes Are Hard to Find sold worse than I thought! Apparently Hammonds Aren't Hard to Sell!
This is from an online article.

* Deep Purple: Perihelion (Image video and DVD, 102 min.). The Deep Purple rebirth is well into its eighth year, ever since guitarist Steve Morse (Dixie Dregs) became the permanent replacement for Ritchie Blackmore. Bassist Roger Glover (who masterminded the reissue of some classic Deep Purple albums on DVD through Rhino Records), keyboardist Jon Lord and drummer Ian Paice go back to the beginning, while vocalist Ian Gillan (he performs barefoot!) joined in 1970. Musically, the band sounds great, from the opening classic "Woman from Tokyo" through a closing quartet of their best: "Smoke on the Water," "Speed King," "Hush" and "Highway Star." The 14 songs also include the "people" songs "Ted the Mechanic" and "Mary Long," while the early "Lazy" is dedicated to the just deceased friend Tony Ashton. Morse' guitar playing is exciting and sweet throughout. DVD bonuses include a 13 1/2-minute behind-the-scenes look, which includes Morse and Glover jamming in the hallway; and 26 1/2 minutes of very candid, very interesting interviews, which touch on Blackmore's wanting to dominate the songwriting, their 1984 reunion and how Lord bought Christine McVie's Hammond organ in 1974, when the Fleetwood Mac member was a bit down on her luck.

Oh man... "I'll have that!!" (drools)

This is the tear-jerking song originally titled 'Selling My Hammond', but later used on Tusk with watered down lyrics as 'Over & Over'. If I ever come acrposs the bootleg mp3 I'll let you know!

Quote:
Could I ever get cash
And would you know how?
Don’t waste my time, tell me now

All you have to do
Is pay C.O.D.
And I’ll become richer
Anyway.

And I said
Could it be me?
Giving up my best set of keys?
I’m selling my Hammond

Could it really really be?

Don’t turn me away
And don’t let me down
What can I do
Not to drop the price down?

Selling my hammond, Selling my Hammond
Selling my Hammond

Ooooh-oooooh-ooooh.
