I genuinely think and *hope* there was enough girl power between them. They have an inspirational friendship ♥

it appears to be. i remember either reading or watching an interview where they said they stuck together when their relationships were falling apart. either stevie stayed at christines or vice versa.

Christine & Stevie have alot of class!
Stevie has said a number of times that she felt Chris was like a sister! In my opinion, those two have always been what I loved most about the Mac! |

Christine had said around The Dance that Stevie hadn't been herself for a long time and that it was nice to have her back. So I suspect there was some distance/strained relations from about 1982 to 1996

Probably an unlikely friendship, but strong and beautiful one by all accounts. I'm sure there have been times of tension, but at the end of the day they love and support each other.
They have always had such a big sister/little sister vibe! In some interviews the relationship really reminds me of mine with my sister.

We know too that Stevie was very reluctant about doing the Say You Will tour without Christine. I suppose by the time of the Unleashed tour, Stevie accepted that Christine is gone, and the fact that she's now the only female in the band.

I wonder if Stevie and Chris even speak anymore? It seems like Chris has basically severed all ties of her rock and roll past.

And Christine did attend an Unleashed show, which wasn't all that long ago.
I would think Christine keeps in closer touch with Mick than Stevie, but I don't think she's severed her ties as much as the ties are loose, considering her location. Michele |

I think they had their moments, just like any friendship. Billy Burnette posted this on Twitter a couple of months ago...

people fight.. but that doesn't mean they aren't close... these two were war buddies... but you eventually go your separate ways... they both have very strong personalities..
