Default Bands you became temporary obsessed with

Did you get a crush on some bands for a period of time?

I'm a die hard fan of Fleetwood Mac, but I was obssesed with QUEEN, during the early 80s. I loved their 70s songs, the Opera-Races-News of the World era. But their 80s songs were great, too. The Miracle, The Works, and Innuendo too.

And with Pink Floyd, during the early 90s. I got all their CDs I could, falling in love with Dark Side, Wish you were here,

During my early teen years I was too disco (late 70s), so Donna Summer was my diva.

But nothing could be compared with my obsession for Fleetwood Mac.

Eek, I've hated them since I was a wee lad. My mother drove me positively mad with their records.

No Doubt- until Rock Steady.....Hella Good was Hella Annoying......Hey Baby wasn't that great, either

I really haven't been obsessed with bands, other than FM.

Arrow Oh man...

My first obsession ever was The Monkees. Micky Dolenz was my fave as a kid, he was funny AND cute. I still love 'em. "The being known as wondergirl..."

NKOTB...from 1989 to 1994 or so....obsessed isn't even the right WORD. LOL I swore to everyone I was going to marry Joe McIntyre. Still love 'em.

I've never been so obsessed with anyone as I am with Lindsey. Have loved him since around March 2001 and here we are closing in on March 2005. Love and adore him.

Also, Justin Guarini is an obsession of mine. We are waiting on pins and steak knives to hear what he's up to!! He posted yesterday to look out for him on something, but we have no clue. LOL Probably a new TV show. EEEE!!

I'm obsessed with Keith Urban. He blows my mind, he's insanely talented. I'm dying to see him live again and get his live DVD coming out soon!!!

I know it ain't music, but my TV obsessions include Josh Holloway (Sawyer on Lost) and Evan Farmer (host for While You Were Out).

Just thought of another couple...BSB and Take That.

...Wow, never would've guessed that?

I know Deb is stoked that KU is coming back to OKC to play in the frikkin' huge Ford Center (Basically OKC's version of Dallas' American Airlines Center...But I prefer our Ford Center since Bricktown is 1 short block away, Hell Bricktown is not even a 3 minute walk on foot.)

Btw, Never have temporary obsession for musicians...Just the ol' fashioned life long support for too many a band to name here!!!

on KeithUrbanfans.com on the "On The Road 2005" section, Page 2 the thread is titled "New Tour Dates Released"...

Plus Pollstar.com has the dates up too.

Yeah, I was obsessed with the Spice Girls around that time, too.

I was really into matchbox twenty for awhile, but I stopped buying after the first two albums. I was also really obsessed with the Barenaked Ladies for awhile, earlier on in college, but I'm not as bad about it now. I don't care for their latest album.

I'd say I went through major phases of Led Zeppelin, Duran Duran, U2, Crosby Stills and Nash, and the Who.

But as someone else said, they all paled in comparison to my love of FM. Not even close.

Exclamation Spice up your life!

I liked them too...wasn't obsessed, but I have their first two albums.

BBMak is another band I was obsessed with. My parents and I went on vacation in like 2000 or something and I made them pull over to a pay phone so I could call to get tickets to the show they did in Dallas. LMAO!!

Thanks, Brian!!
