Its also my all time favorite Stevie video.
But yes it was an odd time. Her management kept her away from lots of promotion during RAL. I imagine making a video with her during the drug years was torture. But they should have forced her to do another video for Ooh My Love which should have been the second single. I actually like Two Kinds of Love. But you need introduction to the song with a video. Its a song that grows on you and should never been a single. When it did not chart they did that live video for Whole Lotta Trouble. By that time OSOTM was off the charts. I dont think Ooh My Love would have been a huge hit but with a video it could have extended the life of the album to maybe sell another 100k copies. But then it got even more strange with her next album touring before the album was released. By the time the album was ready, she was off the road and Sometimes Its A Bitch never really charted. I cant imagine management could be so dumb. Its obvious her behavior was so off that it made it difficult to have a normal recording career with videos and concerts, etc.

Yea, she was basically in her own way because she could kept going in the right direction... but clearly didn't.

Rooms on Fire would have been a great Fleetwood Mac song on Tango in the Night. If you add Lindsey’s magic production and vocals with Christine it would have been a major hit on Tango.

Absolutely, the guitar especially would be beautiful.

This must be commented before, but since I'm not a Glee fan, I didn't know so it was unexpected to me.

Of course I watched the Rumours Glee episode at the time, everybody (here) was talking about it. But today I casually saw another old episode where Gwyneth Paltrow sings Landslide. I've never seen that, it was a nice performance.

Cool to read later than MTV said that song is a treasure of the Fleetwood Mac catalog.

I remember hearing Station Man played on the radio a few years back, which was a very pleasant surprise.

Here is a rare one.
The TV show One Day At A Time, episode "November Song" air date 01/18/1981

There is a discussion about Stevie Nicks and her hair Rumours vs Tusk.
The episode is about Schneider falling for a younger woman. Barbara is talking with the new young girlfriend and Barbara compliments her on her hair. The girlfriend says she wants her hair to look just like Stevie Nicks. Barbara then says she loves Stevie's hair on the Rumours album but not Tusk.
I suppose Valerie saw that witch photo of Stevie on the Tusk album

Its interesting because Valerie definitely met Stevie before this episode aired. There are photos of her and Eddie with Stevie in the late 70s.

Guess those old-school yachts needed some wind on the water.

Just heard Waylon Jennings’ cover of “Gold Dust Woman” on Outlaw Country.

SiriusXm Big 80s countdown, this week ending July 23, 1983

Stand Back enters the Top 10 at #9
Just ahead of She Works Hard For The Money

I remember listening every week as it moved up the charts. Those 2 songs would jump back and forth with each other. Stand Back would peak at#5 but She Works Hard For The Money would peak higher.

The summer of 1983. What a great year for music. Probably the last year for rock before the British new wave crap took over.

BTW, no surprise, The Police, Every Breath You Take held the top spot at #1.
Summer of 1983!

Flicked tv on in the afternoon !! (Unheard of but it’s a wet Sunday afternoon).
And there was Stevie singing back up on American girl, with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers…

Strange, I had heard that song in Vegas twice.
