I think there used to be some sort of feedback with the electrical system, possibly related to Christine’s Hohner or her Leslie. I think she used one Leslie in 1975–76 but beefed up the setup with two new Leslies for the 1977 tour. What’s a little odd is that you don’t hear the noises on every song—you hear it on “Rhiannon” (which has no Leslie), “Green Manalishi,” “Spare Me a Little,” and “Blue Letter.” We should reach out to Dashut or Ray Lindsey with an audio example of what we’re talking about. I’m sure they could identify it.
