Mason was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 as a founding member of the pivotal rock group Traffic, for whom he penned such classic tunes as "Hole in My Shoe," and "Feelin' Alright."

As a solo artist, Mason cut the albums, "Alone Together," "Dave Mason," "Mariposa De Oro," and "Let it Flow." "Let it Flow" went platinum and contained the classic "We Just Disagree."

In 1993, Mason joined Fleetwood Mac and spent two years traveling with the band. He was lead singer on "Blow by Blow" and "I Wonder Why."
