I'm the kind of sucker-fan that wants to buy any compilation available.

And I love the cover. So excitement is happening over here.

But is it me or is it impossible to find any information about what is actually on this anywhere on the internet? Or when it's available? There seems to be nada.

Yargh. I hate when the internet fails to deliver on its promise of having all the information I could ever possibly want. It's terribly rude of it.

Oh well. Will just have to wait a bit.

I was already mentally planning my trip to a nearby town to go to the Starbucks and pick this up tomorrow. Patience isn't really how I roll.

Ooh. This is nice. I will definitely look, but I am always tempted to buy a slice of lemon loaf cake when I'm in there, so that's kind of upsetting.

Looks like Mick is standing on Christine's shoulders in the photo.

When I first read this thread title.I thought FM themselves stop to have some coffee at Starbucks and had a chat.

I notice alot of artists are having special collection of tunes CD at Starbucks and other places.

I know alot of country artists use Cracker Barrel for their music collection CD's.

I hope it has something unreleased on it.
David Wild is a good writer, and I like that they put a picture on the cover with all 5 of them drunk! Or high. Or both.
There must be a proven connection between being jacked up on caffeine and impulse buying music that you don't really need. Or that you already have on other albums, but after
a double shot Americano, who cares?

Question

Man I've checked all my local buckys and none of them have it. Some say they had it but no indication as to if they are getting more in or not (and I think I was lucky to get that info let alone what's on it so I didn't even go there). So if anyone can post about the contents here if they get one that would be great and may stop the wild goose chase this will no doubt put everyone here on (if it does turn out to be Rumours infinity etc.).

John, I was under the impression it hasn't been released yet? I'm confused now! Is it possible that those staff members were confusing this with Just Tell Me That You Want Me, which they sold for a long while?

I'm confused! Is this Fleetwood Mac Opus Collection CD a greatest hits package? Or a new album? I live in Australia, so what about me? I can't go to Starbucks and buy this when it is released because Starbucks does not exist in Australia! [There is one Starbucks shop in Sydney CBD but I'm not sure if that's even still there.]

Stupid David Wild. Don't be such a cryptic old fool. If you have Fleetwood Mac news articulate the whole story you tease!

Yes, secret love. From my extensive two minutes of research, it looks like the Opus Collection is a series of artists retrospectives released exclusively at Starbucks. When it's released, they do have an online store you're likely to be able to purchase it from, although I don't imagine anything revelatory is going to be on it. And after a while of selling it in stores it looks like they tend to be made available on Amazon. Assuming FM's follows the same pattern that Bonnie Raitt's did, anyway.

And yes, I'd have liked David Wild to comment a little more as well!
