Yep. I used to live there *sigh*. That's why I have to go there all the time in the summer, because I am from a place with rivers, too, and I really can't bear not to swim in them all summer. SF doesn't really have any, and it's cold here all summer anyway.

Maybe divide up in Santa Barbara? Of course, So. California would keep it. Then we'd have ALL the good cities.

now there's no mystery, but then again, soon my red-faced pic will be buried under newer pages of pix and all will be well

by the way, about the hair: when I spend any time in the sun, I get lotsa red highlights I used to have a light strawberry reddish blonde when I was 25....it was actually quite pretty, but now only a common mousy brownish blah color...

finally: my secret to youthful looks? Stay out of the sun, wear your sunglasses, and drink lotsa fluids (like BEER!)
