DISCUSSION: Jeremy Spencer's Songs from the 1968 Fleetwood Mac album
So a few days ago, I started a Fleetwood Mac "contest", if you will, to find out the #1 Favorite FM song, breaking each album down by singer to eventually determine each album's Favorite song AND Favorite song by singer.
For more info, the original threads are posted in the Rumours Forum. In this Discussion thread, we will discuss Jeremy Spencer's songs from the original 1968 Fleetwood Mac album. The official Poll Thread will be posted later. Now I am not that familiar with FM's early work, so your help is needed. What are the Jeremy's songs from this album, or at least the ones that you all consider his songs, whether he wrote them or even if he sung someone elses song? Thanks for your help. Let the Discussion begin! EDIT: I hope this thread gets noticed, I forgot that Stevie's 1st concert is tonight. There's like 74 Ledgies on Stevie Forum! Jeremy sang lead on and wrote My Heart Beat Like a Hammer, My Baby's Good To Me, and Cold Black Night. He also sang Hellhound On My Trail, Shake Your Moneymaker, and Got To Move, but these were written by others. My favorite of these is My Baby's Good To Me.

It's Jeremy's best work with the band. FM's "Shake Your Moneymaker" set FM apart from A) other British blues bands, and B) white American blues bands. It's raw, it's intense, and it's in your face. FM tried to seperate themselves from the John Mayall school of British blues, and did it very well with this song.

Hello MacShadows: I would love to participate in this! Can you answer a question for me? Am I supposed to rank the songs from best to worst, or just pick one favorite? Thanks so much, Madelow.

Thanks for your interest! Basically there is a discussion thread and later on the official poll thread where Ledgies vote for his or her favorite song. Discussion thread gives everyone a chance to discuss the songs up for vote. Sorta a "vetting" process of figuring out what songs are eligible, what you like about them and what not, also talking about the set of songs as a whole for the vocalist at that point in his or her career. So no, there is no ranking system, per se, of the songs for this "contest". Just post your comments about the songs in the discussion thread and vote for your favorite a few days later in the official poll thread. Hope that helps! The voting is closed, but I just had to say...switching the lines on "Hellhound On My Trail"?
"If today was Christmas Day and tomorrow was Christmas Eve?" REALLY?
