Songs You Can Listen to 700 Times in a Row
I might be the only person that does this, but I somehow doubt it. I have a habit of occasionally latching onto a song and listening to it about 700 times in a row. Eventually, I will switch it up, and I don't do that ALL the time, but since I'm doing it currently with a Nick Cave song, I thought it might make a fun thread topic.
Here's the current song: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, "Come Into My Sleep" Some others I do this with: The Cult - "Fire Woman" - I am totally driven to flail around like a spazzy wombat to this song every time I hear it, which is, as you can imagine, something of an inconvenience. If I ever come visit you, please do not play this song or some of your valuables might get broken. Seriously. I just had to get up and do it because I had to pull up the song on YouTube for linking purposes. Sisters of Mercy - "Flood II" - If Doktor Avalanche wasn't a drum machine, I would totally marry him. Also, he gives great advice. Move the hell over, Dear Abby - the Doktor is IN (and probably judging me for making terrible jokes). Mick Harvey (former Bad Seed) - "Out of Time Man" Moloko - "Forever More" - I LOVE this song. Not only does it have a great beat and you can dance to it, but the video is fun as hell. Love the choreography. And Roisin Murphy is adorable. David Bowie - "Cat People (Putting Out Fire)" TV on the Radio - "Wolf Like Me" - y dis song so gud, tv on radio? Fields of the Nephilim - "For Her Light" - Goth cowboys FTW Mission UK - "Deliverance" Devin Townsend - "Bad Devil" - I don't know what a "bad double-decker devil" is, but it's gotta be awesome, because Devy is never not awesome. There are a lot more, because I clearly have too much time on my hands, but that's probably enough for now. Whatcha got for me?
