SIGNED Peter Green – Whatcha Gonna Do? IMPORT VINYL RECORD FIRST PRESS BLUES LP.

I hung out in London with Peter Green after his highly successful energetic performance in front of a large crowd at Dingwalls in 1985!

Green signed my LP on the back cover (Please see third photo).

As far as the condition is concerned please note the gorgeous shiny gloss to this vinyl record. “ Whatcha Gonna Do ? has been listened to only a handful of times since it was purchased in 1985 in London. This signed LP is a One of a kind item on the Internet at this time. I just returned from Chicago where I met with a record seller with over 50 years in the music business. This gentleman informed me that my price of $200 was far too low! Recently, signed vinyl by the late Peter Green have been sold for more than $600. However, the last autographed vinyl was framed with ticket stubs and other Peter Green collectibles.

I am a certified professional picture framer. Thus, you will have to message me if you’d like me to frame this LP for you. If you own items that you’d like me to include message me along with photos. Otherwise, I will sell the LP to you as is. To give a buyer an option is certainly a worthy goal because though it is time consuming furthers productive creatively for all who even just read this “description”.

This Lp is shipped insured with your signature required. At that time you must open the box and make certain that you are more than happy. According to USPS carriers are REQUIRED to wait for recipients to first examine a shipment. Secondly, your signature is a binding legal agreement that as a buyer you have examined the contents of said package and the item is deemed as described and by signing waive ALL legal claims against the shipper and USPS. Personally I am sorry to have to require a signature from my valued clients. However, I have been on both ends and always have operated above board and the protection that one signature offers is outstanding for buyer and seller alike! Also, my intentions are perfect as I seek long-term honest relationships with both my buyers and my sellers.

I have had ( and only just recently) a slew of BAD buyers attempting to scam me. For sellers I offer the following: Do not ship to “ buyers “ with zero response. Secondly, I have forward their home addresses to concerned parties. Any info from sellers is very much valued as I believe there is a brotherhood amongst both buyers and sellers and I thank you for strengthening our community, let alone our resolve!

I am going to leave the creative option to the person who wants to hang this rare vinyl record signed by one of the top five British blues guitarist of the 60s according to many rock and blues magazines and periodicals. I do have photographs that I would certainly be willing to present to the buyer that evidence the fact that I met Peter Green . ( Finding said photos will prove to be a challenge.) Also, Green signed one of my photos from the Mean Fiddler that I presented to Peter after his incendiary Dingwall‘s performance! I saw Peter Green several times in London including a performance at the Mean Fiddler as well as ding walls where I witnessed great bands like the rain parade. Peter green was particularly on fire and doing walls maybe it was the enthusiasm as a large crowd compared to only a handful of the cognoscenti. Also, The Mean Fiddler is quite a hassle to reach. The great feature about the music venue called The Mean Fiddler though was how easy it was to meet Peter Green !

Please no returns! My response is 100% and you’re getting a near mint record that is signed Buy one of the greatest blues guitarists ( along with Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck , Keith Richards et al) of all time in the UK!

As a bonus, the music contained herein is first rate. Among other top flight musicians, the great Mo Foster plays bass guitar on this LP. Like a Bob Dylan Recording session this record lovingly produced by Peter Vernon-Kell !Thus, an excellent SOUNDING LP was created by Peter Green.

I want this record album to go to someone who will really appreciate it. Ideally, I want this record to go to an aspiring young guitarist who find it a source of inspiration and promise me that they will not sell it until they are older. I am a huge fan of blues guitar music and Peter Greens’ guitar prowess with the early Fleetwood Mac is right up there with Eric Clapton. Thus, I highly value this LP and I’m selling it to a fan of Peter Greens’ who will appreciate this great record ! In the same vein , I PERSONALLY bought the vinyl in London and saw Peter Greene perform at Dingwall‘s where I got his autograph. I do have photos of me and Peter Green together that I can photograph digitally send to the buyer! 10% off until April 14,2024.
