b/c that's how she perceives digital releases?

on the positive note - it's great she seems very open to it!

"Reissue/repackage." God Bless, Morrissey. It is not beneath Fleetwood Mac to paint a vulgar picture; just ask the Rolling Stones. The Stones have another--iTunes only(?)--compilation out called "Grr" (as in "grrl"?). It also contains a couple of new tracks. So this may be the new vogue for old-timey acts that still tour. I can't speak to it from a Reprise perspective, but artists signed to new labels released Greatest Hits packages all the time (e.g., Morrissey, Scritti Politti).

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Are you sure of its meaning? To me it sounds like they are annoyed at having to release another hits package.

It's being released physically a couple different ways. There are two different versions on cd, a shorter one, and then one with 80 tracks, and I believe there is also a special edition vinyl version.

I think you could argue for some sort of precedence here . . . .

Let's here it for the dogs of Fleetwood Mac!
