My relationship with a certain carbon based commodity has recently taken a turn for the worse. Seems that it simply cannot comprehend the word "straw". Every time I mention straws, it gets all high and mighty and thinks I'm trying to talk down to it. But of course, it cannot have that, for it is much taller than me, so the slightest hint of superiority over it results in an endless string of outwardly directed insults and bad jokes. I do not know where else to turn, as the big angry lesbians down the block have snubbed me the last four encounters. Straws are very important to me, and I don't know if I can be with something that doesn't understand them the way I do. My mother will never forgive me if I end the relationship. She has always wanted me to end up with something just like my wittle wubbles. I used to call it boo boo kitty but it could not tolerate constantly being compared to a feline. The correlation brought up issues of odor and furriness. But the repeated sounds in the old name make it much easier to remember. My list of future nicknames is dwindling with each passing day while I continue to learn more things that annoy wubbles. I feel empty. And lost. A little hungry.

Good relationships are alot like straws, at some point they have to bend, and maybe even have loops. Drinking tasty beverages through them helps too. This might also help with your hunger situation.
