I never liked my looks when I was growing up, but I think my face has some character now that I've gotten older, with the laugh lines, etc.

Currently, I'm not wild about my waistline, but at this moment I'm also not willing to do the exercising to fix that. Still, I'd rather do it myself the old-fashioned way, than have lipo.

How ever old I ultimately live to be, I'm sure I'll be content with looking my age... so no cosmetic surgery for me.

Well, she probably means well. I think. Sounds just like my best friend's mom.

OOPS.. I hit no, I meant yes. I want lazer resurfacing done on my face. I have some acne scars I would like to go away. I have to wait one year after I'm off Accutane, so that will be in September, and I plan on having the resurfacing done in February of next year. (tax check time!) Also, I'm not huge yet, and I'm exercising to make the waist go down, but if it gets too bad, I wouldn't rule our Bariatric (sp?) surgery.

Your poor best friend, that's brutal. Same to you taken, I can't believe your Mom would say such things. My Mom was never outright critical of my appearance but she was of her own and that is what I picked up. I'm brutal to myself.

I don't think there's anything wrong with your nose. You look cute.

I picked a few, but I had to qualify one I didn't pick - cheek implants. I wouldn't want cheek implants, but I might want the thing where they take the fat out of your cheeks or whatever they do so that your own cheekbones stick out more.
Also, I've been thinking of getting cosmetic tattoo freckles. I mean, not actually that I'm planning to do it, but I did just think of it and have been ruminating on it. I figure, if I get them on the upper cheekbone/lower undereye area it can block sun there/camalflouge wrinkles/cover some pores on my cheeks. Does that sound really weird? I've always loved freckles anyway, though, since I was little - and I don't really have any to speak of.
And also I'm the girl who got a tattoo on my thigh (my friend was getting one and she wanted me to get one, too - I didn't purposely go in for it) to cover up a patch of spider veins that was there....

Otherwise I picked all the lifts - breast, face, brow, eye tuck - I wouldn't want my breasts augmented, though, just lifted. It's that extra weight that brings 'em down in the first place!

your nose is really small and cute, I don't get it. It's perfect, it's all roundy and slightly upturned. Seriously, that is strange to me.
Can I have your old nose when you're done with it?

I might get a nose job, but I'm scared - I wouldn't want it to be any different shape, just the same but smaller at the tip. I don't think they can do that, so I might skip that one. I don't want that gross skinny shaved nostrilly pointy nose job nose.

Too roundy! It's not that small either. I don't have the bump most people get nose surgery for, but I'd like it narrower and to have a more refined tip. (But not "pinchy" refined .)

I didn't even know you could get "cosmetic freckles." I mean I guess you can get anything tattoed on, but I've never thought or heard of people getting freckle tattoos. That's interesting.
Well, I'm mad at you for wanting a different nose. I think the roundness matches your face really well. Your eyes are big and round, your lips are poofy and round, your hair is curly...round is a pleasing shape.

I've never heard of anyone getting it, either, but I don't see why they wouldn't be able to. Oddly (to me) I only really found one cosmetic tattooist in the area, and freckles weren't on her list. Seems like it would be easy, though - the important part would be color matching and also making them varied sizes so they look natural. You could probably find a pic of someone with a freckle pattern you like, and then the tattoo person could use it as a model. Just like regular tattoos, really. Heh. Freckles are so cute.

I wanted a nose job when I was younger but I don't anymore. I have a round nose and I wanted the tip thinned but now I think its so unique I wouldn't want to change it. Plus, I started talking about it and everyone I know said I was nuts and it was fine.

I understand the whole profile thing tho, Jazzy, I wish my nose were less prominent and my chin moreso. I could be dangerous if I had a lot of money, a little tweak there, one there. I can see how it would become addictive. But I would really try to resist because I wouldn't want to become something really odd.
