Default Damn Peanut Brittle!

I just ate a huge block of homemade peanut brittle. I'm talking big, and peanuty. I feel so bad about myself. I can't believe I ate the whole thing! No amount of working out tonight can burn THAT many fat and calories. I'm doomed.

Okay, end of rant.

I had a good chuckle at this, but I have no idea what a 'peanut brittle' actually is - but it sounds great!!!!

It's not that bad. And some amount of working out will help. You won't burn it all at once, but if you do work out the next couple days you can probably insure it won't deposit itself as fat particles. Your body burns more calories when it's at rest if you have worked out.

That's good to know. I'm so mad though! I'm working out tonight and playing tennis on Saturday...Fridays always do me in, happy hour, drinks, chips and queso, it's all a hot mess . I guess I'll have to skip that tomorrow night.

Let's put it this way, it's a ginormous hunk of peanuts, sugar, and butter, hardened to candylicious perfection. It kind of has the same consistency as toffee. I'm bad at explaining weird, abstract foods.

it is, but it's kind of like a hybrid of toffee and peanuts. Actually, it IS a hyrbrid of toffee and peanuts, it's like peanut toffee. I told you I was bad at explaining things like this!

Foxy, do you guys have Fiddle Faddle over there? I'm guessing not...anyway, that's kind of close.

Yes, that's what I was saying. It's toffee with peanuts in it.

Okay, end of rant.
When the first Krisy Kreme opened here like 5 years ago, I waited in line like 3 hours to get a box of originals, then I ate the whole thing in like 20 minutes.

Krispy Kreme!!!! Ah, what a nemesis. My last Vegas trip I had them for breakfast every morning. Thank God for the metabolism I have, I should be the size of a vending machine!

Its not your fault! Foods like that trigger something biologically to cause a binge! Have you been denying yourself sweets? That could be it too. Just move on and try to balance things out by cutting back a little more for a few days. Or, just put it in the past and forget about it! Seriously, I bet it didn't cause you to gain an ounce and wasn't it delish? Sometimes you just gotta feed the beast, so to speak.

Also, peanut brittle is divine. My ex's dad makes it and I have indulged in it in the past. Oh yummy heavenly treat!

oh this beast was fed to the brim! yeah, I'm really not a sweets eater at all! But when I do crave them, I REALLY crave them, plus I was starving yesterday for some reason and it was there, and so...

But hopefully I won't get that urge again for a very long time. We had a really bad hail storm last night and so our power was out the entire night, it still isn't back on. I'm afraid the icecream in the freezer is going to melt down to nothing, but hey, maybe that's a good thing

Geez. I went to one of the stores once and had one and a half and almost threw up. I'm surprised David didn't try to kill the mayor of San Francisco.
