No. I think she really loved him but could not deal with his drug problem. He needed to help himself and he couldn't. Just sad.

Really? where was he laid to rest? The next time I'm out there, I might make a stop.

It's the age old syndrome of too much, too soon with his 3 #1's. Couple that with always feeling like he's in the shadow of his brothers, and I'm sure that contributed to his problems.

That is hilarious! Must have been the same tour I saw him on. At Six Flags. I remember bringing my HUGE Polaroid "Handle" camera (remember those??) and I took some pics. If I ever get around to finding and scanning them, I'll post 'em! I remember him wearing a red shirt and very tight, white pants.

He is laid to rest at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills and he has a wall vault with a single plaque

I had lost my mom a few months prior to visiting LA and for some reason just spending time and leaving flowers at Andy's gravesite made me realize that grieving wasted alot of my time and energy and it made me see life in a very different way

Many famous people are buried there. Lucille Ball, The Nelson family, Liberace, Bette Davis and the cemetary is a beautiful one and you will want to just walk around for awhile.

I was wondering why no one was commenting on my brush with fame.

Of course I remember those cameras- they were awesome!
