I would say her dad's death. The announcement of her decision came within about a month or so after his death, but I also think that Eddy did enter in her decision also.

Are you referring to that tsunamigenic megathrust subduction zone quake? because if so, I agree with you.

Remember, the difference between a magnitude 7 quake & a magnitude 8 quake is that the latter is like 32 of the former. And the difference between a magnitude 7 quake & a magnitude 9 quake is that the latter is like 1,000 of the former.
