Default Best Backup singing?

What songs have the best backup singing in Fleetwood Mac?

I would say Little Lies has haunting Stevie vocals, BC has great Christine and Lindsey back-ups and I love the Stevie vocals on WTWCT?, on Say You Will.

Also, Skies the Limit has some nice Stevie vocals in the chorus.

And Lindsey and Stevie add something special to Love In Store.

I also love Christine's vocals on the Dance version of the Chain and Stevie's vocals on the Dance version of Everywhere.

Anyone else have some songs to add to this list?

Mustn't we forget Lindsey's haunting and sexy (and cool too)-sounding vocals on "Isn't It Midnight"?

Chris makes the song pretty, and Lindsey makes it sound dark with the hoarse "the face of a pretty girl...".

~~

"The face of a pretty girl..."

Haunting!

~~

Note: I edited it recently.

Dr. Evil- "...I thought we'd name it in his honor: The Alan Parsons Project."
Scott- "The Alan Parsons Project was a progressive rock band from 1982. Why don't you just name it Operation Wang Chung?"

I love Lindsey's backing vocals on "Thrown Down"...especially during the last verse ('you say you're sorry, that you should walk away...')

Every time I listen to that song, I sing Lindsey's harmony.

See, I don't like his backing vocals on this song. When he sings "Together, together, together..." in the song it sounds like togeder or todeter. I need to hear a "th" sound! It bugs me.

I agree with you both.

I love the last verse...espcially "You can sit outside his door and wait/Well, you can dedicate your pain to him"

But the "together" bit is annoying

It's got to be Honey Hi on from Tusk...Straight Back from Mirage...also Farmers Daughter from Live. My other favs are Midnight Wind from John Stewart's Bombs Away Dream Babies...Lindsey & Stevie are just amazing on that. Stevie on Tunnel Of Love from Walter Egan's Fundamental Roll. I love Lindsey's background vocals on Poor Poor Pitiful Me from the Warren Zevon album...although his background vocals are not mixed loud enough...they are just awesome...also from the same album...Mohammed's Radio with Lindsey & Stevie. I have many more, those are my favs.

I am partial to Alvin and the Chipmunks in Illume. How serendipidous that they were available when Lindsey and Stevie were in the studio!

I think Stevie and Theodore have been close ever since they spent time at Betty Ford together.

It's actually good to see that he and the rest of the Chipmunks are working together again... it's just a pity VH1 didn't dedicate one of their 'Bands Reunited' episodes to them, rather than Extreme (shame on Nuno for acting like such a diva)!

Sister of the Moon Live 1982 when Lindsey sings those verses ..."I'd like to wrap her in velvet...doesn't anyone know her name?"

Lindsey's backing vocals on "Thrown Down" "Say You Will" and "Everybody Finds Out" really are catchy and stick in my head.

Christine and Lindsey's Backing Vocals on " Beautiful Child" and "Storms"
